Tagging text

A common workflow is to insert an element and then enter text within the element. However, sometimes you want to type the text first and then tag the text (that is, apply an inline element to the text).

To tag text:

Select the text.
Do not include any elements in the selection.
Click Edit > Tag Text.
The Tag Text window opens.
Select the tag and click Apply.
